Deputy Director of Social Services - Programs to help shape and strengthen vital human services in our community. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll guide key programs in
Economic Services and Child Welfare, driving performance, ensuring compliance, and leading innovations that improve lives.
Reporting directly to the Director of Social Services, you’ll align agency operations with service excellence and build strong partnerships across local and state networks. The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field
- Seven (7) years of experience in social services including at least three (3) years of supervisory experience

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
- At least seven (7) years of leadership experience in human or social services
- Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and large budgets
- Experience with state and federal compliance in health and human services
- Background in strategic planning and performance-based program management
How Will We Know You're 'The One'? - Strategic leadership and decision-making across multiple service programs
- In-depth knowledge of economic services and child welfare systems
- Strong financial acumen, including budget planning and oversight
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement through performance data and metrics
- Expertise in fostering partnerships with government agencies and community organizations
