What you will do: - Design, develop, coordinate and deliver instructional programs for in-person and virtual sessions.
- Train department team members on various topics in-person and through virtual platforms.
- Assist with identifying training needs and research on various training topics.
- Maintain and update training records in a learning management system, use interactive gamification platforms, and use Microsoft products for training.
- Manage mandatory training attendance for new hires.
- Manage the scheduling and planning of monthly training sessions.
- Assess training effectiveness.
- Work with leadership to create a comprehensive professional development curriculum and framework.
- Distribute surveys, create reports, and provide outcomes to management for review.
- Stay abreast of professional development trends.
- Engage and coach team members about professional development to increase job performance.
- Provide oversight and daily supervision, direction and delegation of work to other training instructor.
- Plan and review assignments, assess performance and coach subordinate.
All you need for success:Qualifications - 8 or more years of relevant work experience OR 4 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- Must be able to travel around the state to deliver in-person trainings. Overnight stays will be expected.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis for denying consideration to any applicant.
Desired Attributes - Certification in DISC
- Knowledge of the methods of instruction, preparation of training materials, and principles of personnel development.
- Knowledge of various training tools.
- Ability to lead discussions and instruct participants.
- Experience in presentations and creating slide decks.
- Ability to operate audio-visual aids and other equipment used in training.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledgeable of various communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Zoom.
- Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.
- Shows initiative to enhance organizational goals.
- Experience with conducting assessments to determine if improvements are needed.
