The Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline of judges investigates unethical, illegal and immoral conduct on the part of Missouri judges in violation of the Code of Judicial Conduct. Work Schedule and Location: The ideal candidate would be available to work the core business hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday in Jefferson City, Missouri

- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, processing mail, scanning, ordering supplies, and maintaining calendars.
- Open and manage cases within the web-based case management system.
- Serve as liaison between the Commission and Complainants.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage form letter correspondence to Complainants.
- Work with Commissioners to keep them informed about important files, meetings and interviews of complainants and witnesses.
- Assemble materials as they are submitted to build report folders in preparation of judicial reprimand actions by the Commission.
- Courteous demeanor with excellent communication skills and patience.
- Comprehensive understanding of office practices, procedures, systems and equipment.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently.
- Effective and professional communication skills with Court staff and the public.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with little supervision.
Qualifying experience: Two or more years of relevant office support experience along with a college degree. A high school diploma with equivalent experience will also be considered.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.Annual starting salary up to $57,264.96 depending on qualifications.
