Job SummaryUnder the immediate supervision of the Associate AD, Marketing Strategy & Fan Engagement, the incumbent will support the day-to-day activities of the Athletics Marketing Department and assist with coordinating and implementing game-day logistics by performing a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks.
Key Responsibilities - Game-day operations - Assist with game-day production/in-game presentation, including setup, coordination with event staff, and ensuring an engaging atmosphere for Long Beach State Athletic events. Coordinate game-day promotional efforts to enhance the fan experience.
- Social media/Marketing Campaigns - Assist in execution of social media schedules and updates to ensure consistent, strategy-aligned content across platforms.
- Budget and Inventory Management - Assist with tracking budgets, processing invoices, and managing inventory to ensure promotional and operational resources are used efficiently.

Education & Experience• Equivalent to one year of administrative support experience required.
• Prior NCAA Division I marketing and promotion experience in collegiate or professional athletics preferred.

Licenses / Certificates• A valid CA driver's license required.
Employees who are required to operate motorized vehicles and/or use their personal vehicle more than once a month on university business are required to take a mandatory Defensive Driving course and enroll in the DMV Employee Pull Notice (EPN) Program.

CompensationCSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $3,680 - $5,417 per month.
Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
