Why you’ll love this position: Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is seeking a licensed professional Dietitian to become part of our Dietary department. This is licensed professional work providing medical nutrition therapy. Acts with independence and is accountable for the assessment and analysis of dietary needs. This individual will create nutrition and diet based on the assessed health needs of the clients as directed by our doctors. They will also provide consultation to clients on how to lead healthier lifestyles and prevent/manage health issues related to diet. They will participate in health improvement clinics as well. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate professional demeanor, and an ability to work in a trauma informed and recovery based environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of dietetics and nutrition, and of food service systems management. Ability to complete nutritional assessments; develop recipes and plan menus; and interpret and follow doctors’ orders in the preparation of special diets.

Licensure as a Dietitian.
