Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood Dr., Jefferson City, MO, in the Division of Regulation and Licensure. Working hours are predominantly Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., but a different daytime schedule may be considered. Work outside of normal working hours may be required.

- Provide support to the Program Coordinator and Committee. Participate as a lead team member of the CON unit, and contribute ideas and suggestions.
- Receive and respond to phone, email, and fax inquiries, and assist applicants and other stakeholders.
- Create, develop and maintain Access Databases. Generate reports.
- Receive and process Letters of Intent for CONs and Non-applicability reviews. Create non-applicability analyses and letter drafts.
- Receive and process CON applications. Collect and process fees. Update CON Website.
- Review CON applications required for new hospital, long-term care, and major medical equipment proposals according to established criteria and standards, and collect additional information. Create staff analyses.
- Process CON modification, extension, and voluntary forfeiture requests, and collect additional information. Create staff analyses.
- Provide comprehensive post-CON Non-compliance Report to supervisor monthly.
- Create full CON meeting compendium drafts. Encourage meeting quorums. Set-up and attend CON meetings. Record votes, take minutes, and address technical issues.
- Create and post Expedited Ballot Packages. Collect and save votes and prepare certifications.
- Create CON Year in Review report draft. Audit annual CON fee deposits.
- Perform technical rulemaking tasks including creating letters and forms.
- Maintain electronic filing systems.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- This is a professional role that supports a busy state-wide program. The successful candidate will be team-oriented and able to work independently, highly organized with excellent time management skills, accurate, detail-oriented, extremely dependable, and able to learn and apply applicable CON laws and regulations; and possess superb oral and written communication skills and good judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Microsoft Access experience and experience designing fillable Adobe PDF forms is preferred.
