The Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Behavioral Health (DBH), seeks to hire a Homelessness Services Coordinator. This is a Central Office position and will be domiciled in Jefferson City.
Salary up to $75,159.00, commensurate with experience and education.
This position requires travel.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Attend & Serve on all Continuums of Care (CoCs) in Missouri and various committees
- Manage CoC grants, ensure expenditures of all grants
- Monitoring Housing Centers
- State PATH Contact
- State SOAR Lead
- Manage PATH and SOAR programs
- Complete HUD Annual Progress Reports
- Provide technical assistance and training on CoC, PATH and SOAR grants
- Ensure compliance with HUD or SAMHSA regulations in all applicable grants
- Supervise four Affordable Housing Consultants
Knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Knowledgeable of HUD Continuum of Care program regulations, policies and procedures
- Program monitoring
- Technical assistance
- Grant management and review processes
- Complex case problem-solving
- Knowledgeable of community behavioral health programs/services
- Enhancing system efficiency
Four to seven years of professional experience in grant management, housing case management, housing development, urban/rural redevelopment, or other closely related areas, of which at least two (2) years must have involved supervisory, managerial or consultative experience in developing and/or managing housing or housing programs; and possession of a Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Social Work, Psychology or Public Administration, Urban studies or other closely related areas. ( Additional years of general qualifying experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required educational qualifications.)
