GENERAL DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the State Parks Division's Technical Resources Program Director, this position performs routine (journey-level) business analysis work and will assist with business requirements and technical documentation of an innovative initiative task (e.g., kiosk, asset management, and change management solution). Reviews, assesses, and develops business processes. Assists with user acceptance testing and implements post-implementation support of systems. Provides research and special project support. Upon establishment of the baseline business requirements, the business analyst will manage and verify the fulfillment of all these requirements, including post-implementation enhancements. This position will integrate the value of a human-centered approach to product development and process design, as well as have the ability to continuously act in the best interest of users at the center of these activities. Communicates with stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree.
Experience: Two years experience business analysis or similar field.
Licensure: Applicant must possess a valid State driver's license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Public Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems.
Experience: Five years experience as a dedicated business analyst with experience in the following areas: (1) eliciting requirements from interviews with customers; (2) writing system requirements documents based on the interviews; and (3) leading a complete and detailed analysis of business processes.
Licensure: Current certification as IBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA).
