  • Job Description

    The Family Support Division is seeking a candidate to fill a Benefit Program Associate position within the Child Support Outreach Program. The base for this position will be in the Cole County/Jefferson City Child Support Office located at 615 Howerton Crt, Jefferson City, MO.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist the needs of customers and clients who visit the office, or contact the office by phone

      with questions about program material
    • Assist applicants when applying for benefit program; make referrals to programs according to

      the needs of clients and customers
    • Mail out agency program material to clients, customers, internal program staff, and outside

      agency partners
    • Conduct and participate in outreach activities to promote agency programs and develop

      contacts with local resource providers
    • Provide case management activities to clients who have significant barriers to employment
    • Screen and review client employment backgrounds in order to make appropriate referrals to

      potential employers


    In order to qualify for this role, you must hold a High School diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant experience

    Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
