The Center represents a regional service delivery model that has been implemented throughout Wake County. Services from various Wake County departments (Public Health, Social Services, Community Services, Environmental Services, Sheriff's Department) and various facility-based partnerships engage the community through the DRC.

Program Assistant, you will serve the programmatic needs for the Departure Regional Center, assist the Regional Center Director on day to day logistics, provide community engagement, be involved with planning community events, assisting with staff engagement and supporting the Community Advocacy Committee and the Management Team. The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Associate's degree

- Experience with Sharepoint and website updates and maintenance
- Human Services Environment experience
- Experience planning community projects, outreach programs and wellness activities
- Experience and knowledge of community partners in Raleigh North Central area
How Will We Know You're 'The One'? - Ability to plan, coordinate, and successfully execute events and meetings, coordinate outreach events, ensuring smooth logistics and effective participant engagement
- Ability to manage program budgets and purchases responsibly using purchasing card
- Ability to reconcile purchasing card weekly, consistently demonstrating ethical fiscal practices and accountability
