Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood, Jefferson City, MO 65109.

This position is integral in all aspects of the department’s state and federal financial reporting and billing activities. You will gain experience working with federal grants and become a power user of Microsoft Access.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.- Gather, interpret and compile data to complete a variety of financial reports.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and the state's financial system data warehouse to complete reports.
- Comprehend and keep up-to-date on state and federal reporting requirements.
- Identify issues, evaluate options and recommend solutions
- Review work for accuracy and retain necessary documentation to support reports
Minimum Qualifications:- A Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
- Highly organized, proactive and possess strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exercise independence, judgment, and initiative in the performance of their duties.
