The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Assist in completing, submitting, and tracking purchase requests and other formal documentation.
- Managing the flow of Fiscal Notes for the bureau, which includes tracking and making sure deadlines are met.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of Bureau meetings and prepare any applicable documents.
- Track documents through the approval process.
- Assist with business travel which includes lodging, car reservations, conference registrations etc.
- Proof documents, letters, and memos.
- Answer the main line and route to the appropriate program.
- Oversee bureau supplies by maintaining supply inventory and storage areas.
- Assist with bureau budget tracking and spending plan reconciliation.
- Process expense reports, purchase requests, and manage fixed asset inventory.
- Support the confidential processing of personnel information.
- Open and process daily mail and distribute to the appropriate person(s)
Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate with a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience (substitutions allowed).
- Good telephone skills and customer service.
- Well organized and an ability to pay attention to detail.
- Excellent skills with standard office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to learn specialized software systems
