    The Position

    Supply Technicians participate in the procurement, receipt, storage, issuing, shipment, property control, inventory, and recordkeeping for a wide variety of assets to include, but not limited to, the following: property, equipment, services, food, forms, parts and supplies. Incumbents work in a warehouse, stockroom or office setting and prepare and process documents for the requisition, purchase, receipt, issuance and transfer of goods; expedite the flow of goods from vendor to user; and maintain control records for a variety of property and equipment.

    The Supply Technician 2 position is located in Reno and works within the 152nd Civil Engineer Squadron at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport installation through the Office of the Military. This position is responsible for managing supplies and inventory, including equipment, services, forms, parts, and materials across multiple warehouses, in support of custodial and maintenance staff who maintain the 152 AW facilities and grounds. Duties include tracking purchases and supplies using a military engineering management system on a daily basis, as well as monitoring and overseeing civil engineering vehicles, heavy equipment, and other smaller tools and equipment.***THIS RECRUITMENT MAY CLOSE WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED.     To Qualify:

    In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
    Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications) Graduation from high school or equivalent education and three years of stocking, storeroom or warehouse experience which included purchasing a variety of supplies, equipment and materials, maintaining inventory records, inventory storage and handling, and shipping and receiving materials and equipment; OR one year of experience as a Supply Technician I in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above. Special Requirements A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant. This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. Additional Position Criteria This position requires a valid Real ID at the time of appointment and for continuing employment. The Examination Application Evaluation Exam The exam will consist of an application evaluation. In contrast, the State's lowest point (along the Colorado River) is only 470 feet above sea level. From majestic mountains to desert valleys, nature has endowed Nevada with diverse and unique ecosystems.
