Description: Position Summary (Classified as: Administrative Analyst/Specialist, Exempt III) Full-time position available on or after December 4, 2023 for Student Affairs. Under the general supervision of the Assistant Vice President for Operations, Planning and Assessment the Grant Specialist independently oversees the grant portfolio and assessment program for the division of Student Affairs. The position engages with a range of internal and external partners communicating in a timely and appropriate manner. The incumbent performs a wide variety of program, administrative and analytical tasks of a responsible and difficult nature requiring independence, judgment, and the application of a comprehensive knowledge of a variety of policies and procedures. Job Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Maintain knowledge of institutional mission, values, goals and priorities identifying funding opportunities that support university operations, demographics and regional/community engagement. Research grant funded opportunities from a wide range of government and non-government agencies and foundations. Complete analyses making informed recommendations to leadership in a timely manner. Description: Job Summary The Resident Accounts Coordinator performs duties under general supervision of the Assistant Director for Residential Accounts and Financial Services but works independently to maintain financial aspects of resident accounts, including resident advisory on financial matters related to housing debts and other SJSU debts when applicable, maintenance of third-party and conference group receivables, and collections on past due accounts. This position prepares a variety of reports and analyzes data for accuracy for the Financial Operations area of the Housing department.
