GENERAL JOB FUNCTION Contra Costa Water District is seeking to fill an Intern position in the Engineering Department-Capital Projects during the Summer of 2021. The Engineering Department provides design and construction services and technical support for a wide variety of District projects and activities. Typical projects include repair or replacement of pipelines, pump stations, treatment plant improvements and canal improvements. Internships requiring driving as an essential function will require the incumbent to possess a valid California driver license and a satisfactory driving record. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Interns can work on a full-time or part-time basis on a flexible schedule. The maximum number of hours that can be worked is 500 hours per fiscal year. The candidate selected may start as early as mid-July. Flexible working schedules are available. The address for the office is 2411 Bisso Lane in Concord, CA.
