The ideal candidate will have experience practicing municipal law in California immediately prior to application, either with a private law firm or as an in-house attorney for a public agency. The successful candidate will be placed as either a Senior Deputy City Attorney, Deputy City Attorney II, or Deputy City Attorney I commensurate with experience.
