Salary Ranges for each role: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic- $34.9769-$44.3354 Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Master-$40.3226-48.7470 WORKING CONDITIONS: Work Location: South Treatment Plant (1200 Monster Road Renton, WA 98057) Work Schedule: 4/10 schedule Union Representation: S.E.I.U. 925 Job Duties Repairs, maintains, installs, and adjusts a variety of wastewater treatment plant, reclamation plant, and waterworks facilities to include chemical feed and processing equipment, as well as food waste processing equipment; belt, chain, and screw conveyors; sluice gates, Bio-Gas scrubbing compressors; oxygen-production and distribution equipment; electric oil-hydraulic elevators; mechanical, structural, and plumbing apparatus; industrial pumps, hydraulic controls and regulators, valves and allied piping systems; and diesel engines and related co-generation equipment. Fabricates parts and fittings; analyzes part failure/malfunction and considers alternatives; makes assemblies and repairs units used in maintenance work from work orders, drawings, specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Highly desirable on any combination of one or more of the following: 5 years as a Millwright or equivalent 5 years experience working in an industrial environment conducting mechanical repairs 5 years experience conducting mechanical repairs in a shipyard setting 5 years experience conducting mechanical repairs in a Wastewater Treatment Plant setting 5 years experience conducting maintenance in an Oil refinery 5 years experience conducting maintenance in a Power Generation Plant National Institute of Metal working skills (NIMS) certification Certified Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (CIMM) PREFERRED CPR and first aid certification KORN FERRY COMPETENCIES: Instills Trust- Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
