Notes to Applicants Position Overview: The City of Austin Enterprise Geospatial Services is excited to announce that we are looking for an IT Application Analyst to join the Geospatial Technology Managment team. This team is responsible for the City's GIS infrastructure, licensing and applications. This position will assist with the maintenance and management of the City of Austin's enterprise GIS Infrastructure. This individual will support a large ArcGIS Server enterprise deployment, the City of Austin's ArcGIS Online organization, Portal for ArcGIS, FME Server, and the Geocortex platform. This includes license and account management for various Esri platforms, monitoring server and database performance, and performing server application upgrades. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, and will work often with GIS contacts around the City of Austin! The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to customer service and seek out creative ways to improve the customer experience. Please note, this position is predominantly remote but will require staff onsite presence as operational needs arise.
