This Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) is a mental health clinician (i.e., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) responsible for the delivery of clinical services to children and their families This position will ensure the coordination between school, student, family, and community provider is collaborative, family centered, and committed to an agreed upon treatment plan. Major/Essential Functions Provide triage, assessment, and clinical intervention services to children and their families. Provide care coordination and work with local providers to help identify the most appropriate resources for students. Work with families and providers to support continuity of care. Assist in managing the day-to-day administrative operations of health promotion services. (San Angelo, Texas Region) Required Qualifications Education: Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field. Three (3) years of related experience required. Lead weekly evidence-based group psychological interventions with child/adolescent patients (and their caregivers) virtually (and possibly in person). Develop treatment plans, in accordance with established standards, consistent with assessment, and in conjunction with patients and family, to include goals, intervention, necessary support or referral service. Identify patients with urgent mental health conditions (e.g., suicidal, homicidal, psychotic, etc.) and makes appropriate referrals as needed. Maintain communication (verbal and written) with caregivers, school personnel, primary care providers, etc. Maintain accurate and updated documentation of assessments, interventions, and recommendations, and discharge plans. Adhere to ethical and legal requirements. Maintain communication with clinical supervisor. Update monthly productivity reports. Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, supervisions, staff meetings, workshops, and serving on special committees.
