THE POSITION Incumbents in the Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) classification may be appointed to specialize in the Mental Health (MH) or the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) area. Intermittent, extra-help employees are not in the classified civil service and do not have property rights to permanently allocated positions.
