Ability to work 30’-60’ above ground and operate aerial equipment to include, but not limited to, ladders, scissors lifts, one-man lifts, bucket trucks and install overhead services and drops. May be required to respond to afterhours calls and work overtime as needed. Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment and machinery. Constructs and maintains service equipment. Reads electrical circuit diagrams. Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical equipment. Requisitions material and supplies from stockroom and recommends purchases and suppliers. Strings/connects overhead lines and does overhead line maintenance Supervises other regular employees during a minor portion of the employee's work time; duties include assigning and reviewing work to other staff.
