What you will be doing: Under supervision, Lifeguard/Swim Instructors perform a variety of duties for the purpose of providing for water safety at Concord Community Pool. This includes organizing, coordinating, conducting, and instructing courses in water safety as well as supervision of the Concord Community Pool. All positions are part time, limited service, and m ust be able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, early morning, evening and weekend shifts when required, and attend weekly in-service trainings. Recreation Leaders work with students in grades 1-6 for After the Bell and 7-9 for LYFE in after school activities, structured games, and homework assistance. Other assignments provide support to the Milpitas Teen Center, leading activities of the same sort with teenage students.
