The Human Services Department (HSD) has requested a department promotional certification to fill one Fraud Technician Supervisor position. Only qualified permanent and/or probationary HSD employees on the eligible list may be eligible for referral to the department for the advertised positions. The Civil Service title for this position is Eligibility Specialist Supervisor. The Fraud Technician Supervisor in the Specials Investigations Unit (SIU) of HSD is responsible for reviewing staff performance, conducting bi-weekly one on one meetings with up to five Fraud Technicians (SESs), maintaining records and reviewing cases for accuracy, running unit meetings, attending quarterly conferences, and reviewing and interpreting regulations as they apply to SIU. This supervisor position has five Fraud Technician (SES) direct reports and at times help support a staff of up to 10 Fraud Technicians (SESs).
