Position Description A graduate student in an institution of higher education employed in support of a department or unit responsible for work assigned by the supervisor within the unit or department, which utilizes knowledge beyond undergraduate academic studies. Major/Essential Functions Laboratory support activities to facilitate the uninterrupted progress of experiments by research personnel. Assist with or perform experiments. Occasional Duties Care and feeding of laboratory animals. Required Qualifications Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System. Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan.
