Job Characteristics ***PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY*** FACILITY ATTENDANT I/II The City of Concord is accepting applications for part-time community center Facility Attendants to support the Recreation Services Department. The Concord Senior Center, located at 2727 Parkside Circle, has several rooms that can accommodate meetings, parties, weddings, or other community events. The main event space boasts a stage and space for banquet dining and dancing for up to 160 guests. It includes a kitchen and audio/visual equipment. The Willow Pass Community Center, located at 2748 East Olivera Road is the perfect facility for a variety of events like business trainings, quarterly meetings, luncheons, receptions, and more. It features a banquet room for up to 200 guests, activity rooms for up to 50 people, a kitchen and beverage bar, and outdoor patio. What you will be doing: Facility Attendants provide supervision of the community center during classes and rentals; set up and take down chairs, tables, equipment; and perform light custodial services. The Facility Attendant must be able to provide a high level of support to customers and ensure the safety of the people and property by effectively enforcing policies and procedures. The Facility Attendant II is distinguished from the Facility Attendant I in that the Facility Attendant II performs duties independently. All positions are part time, limited service. Definition This is a temporary part-time opportunity! As a Missoula County employee, you will be part of a team that is committed to positively impacting the community. The base rate of pay for this position is $14.64 per hour. The Larchmont Golf Course is seeking RANGE ATTENDANTS to join their team. Larchmont range person assists the pro-shop and golf professionals in day-to-day operations of the facility pertaining to the driving range and golf carts. Representative Examples of Work Picking up/cleaning driving range golf balls. Keep driving range tee neat and tidy. Assist pro shop staff in cleaning/organizing golf carts. Ensure ball machine is full at the end of every day. Ensure water coolers are full on the course. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license. Physical/Environmental Demands Work is performed primarily outside and physical activity will be performed. Requires frequent walking, bending, and lifting moderate to heavy objects. Seasonally involves hours outside the normal business week. Involves assistance in technology operation, frequent walking on uneven/rough terrain, climbing stairs, and some exposure to inclement weather. The medical health benefits premium is covered for full-time employees. The County contribution is pro-rated on hours paid for part-time employees. The employee pays the premium portion for dependent coverage. Family health benefits coverage is $258.00 per pay period. Medical deductible is $500 for an individual and $1,000 for a family. Sick Leave – Full-time employees accrue 7.38hours per month and are eligible to use sick leave once you have been an employee for 90 days.The accrual is pro-rated for part-time employees. Vacation Leave – Full-time employees accrue 9.24 hours per month and are eligible to use leave after continuous employment for a period of 6 full months. The accrual is pro-rated for part-time employees. Holidays – The County observes eleven legal holidays in even numbered years and ten legal holidays in odd numbered years. Paid Parental Leave (PPL)- In recognition of the importance of bonding and care of a newborn child or a child placed for adoption, Missoula County 6 continuous weeks of PPL to eligible full-time employees that have been with the county for 180 days. The hours are pro-rated for part-time employees.
