Serve as the liaison with the AS office, EXCEL, EOP, AACE, Financial Aid, General Education and other student support service areas under the program. Represent Project IMPACT independently when appropriate at campus events and outreach, as required by TRIO regulations. Major Duties Under general supervision, the HSI CALPP Project Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of project activities for the Climate Action Leadership Pathways Project (CALPP) as directed by the CALPP Principal Investigator (PI), in coordination with key project partners, including VOCES Social Justice Magnet, Carlos Santana Elementary Schools, Community Action Research Project, and other CALPP partners. The incumbent performs the full range of work related to program and policy research, analysis, development, evaluation, and operational analysis. Coordinates and regularly liaises with the PI, Project Coaches, K-12 students, and educator Climate Action Fellows, partner affiliates, and partner sites. Provides coordination for overall project alignment across all project segments to complete and fulfill the project's objectives and meet key project milestones. Collects, compiles, and reviews needed data metrics for grant reporting and works to draft and submit all grant reporting in a timely manner to ensure overall project compliance in data and reporting. Chicana/o Studies, Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Urban Studies, or Community Studies preferred. Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, progressively responsible technical, analytical, or administrative experience. Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required education, on a year for year basis. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Working knowledge of general practices, program, and/or administrative specialty. Working knowledge of operational analysis and techniques. Knowledge and experience working with Chicanx/Latinx and other racially/ethnically diverse K-16 students, parents, and communities. Ability and specialized skills to expertly investigate and analyze problems with a broad administrative impact and implications; oversee and/or train others and provide lead work direction; interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures to develop conclusions and make recommendations; compile, write and present reports related to the program. Classification: Admin Analyst/Specialist / 1038 / grade 2 The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $4379 - $5700 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $4379 - $7922 per month. HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends. This is a Temporary position; end date to be determined. The position is currently hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
