ABOUT THE JOB: This position will lead our award-winning Behavioral Health Crisis Program including the 24/7 Deschutes County Stabilization Center (DCSC). Services included in the Crisis Program include the 24/7 Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT), Forensic Diversion Team, Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training coordination, and Civil Commitment Investigations and Monitoring. Deschutes County Health Services is looking for a candidate with a strong vision and understanding of crisis services in a community mental health setting, integrated healthcare delivery and healthcare transformation. This leadership position is responsible for program development and implementation, evaluation of services and systems, operational logistics including oversight of the crisis budget, maintaining and building strong community partnerships and direct oversight of the 24/7, 365 Deschutes County Stabilization Center (DCSC) and mobile crisis. Must be able to function as part of a leadership team and collaborate with a wide network of community partners. Key Responsibilities: Provide group and individual supervision of crisis leadership team at DCSC and overall Crisis program operations. Attend state and national committees/workgroups pertaining to crisis work as well as represent DCSC to community partners on a local level. Establish and promote effective working relationships with grantors, referral sources, the public and other employees at all times.
