Calling All Interested Students!San Bernardino County's Sheriff's Department, Coroner Division, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for students to explore the investigation process for cases falling under their jurisdiction.
Students Will Learn How To:
- Determine the cause of death.
- Determine if an autopsy should be performed.
- Collect and protect the decedent’s property and observe how relatives are notified.
- Assist with investigations and autopsy reports.
This is an unpaid opportunity with great exposure to the County! Students must be enrolled at one of the following colleges or universities:
- California Baptist University
- California State University of Fullerton
- California State University of San Bernardino
- California State University, San Marcos
- Cal Poly Pomona
- Chaffey College
- Claremont Graduate University
- Crafton Hills College
- Maryville University
- Occidental College
- University of California, Riverside (UCR)

- San Bernardino Valley College
- Victor Valley College
