Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.
Major/Essential Functions
- Contributes to the universitys mission through teaching, patient care, research and service.
- Teaching residents and medical students.
- Giving lectures and teaching sessions to residents and medical students.
- Medical practice in area of Internal Medicine.
- Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties
Maintain or develop an academic research program in the field of internal medicine.May conduct inpatient internal medicine teaching rounds.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or Foreign medical equivalent;
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency;
- Eligible to obtain a Texas State Medical License.
- Multiple openings.
