General Description and Classification Standards The Airport Assistant General Manager, Business Services reports to the Deputy General Manager. This position will direct multiple assigned major airport business functions including procurement, contract management, inventory control, fleet management, data analytics, budget management, quality assurance, and employee support services.
The position is responsible for both strategic planning and business operations, allocates budgeted resources as needed, establishes processes and procedures, plays a significant role in developing policies, and procedures.
- The person in this role will be a high-functioning, results-oriented, self-directed professional with the ability to acclimate to a fast paced, changing environment, while performing a variety of complex tasks requiring initiative and a significant amount of judgment in problem-solving. They will be a key player in providing comprehensive, insightful, and accurate financial analysis and reporting to management for informed decision-making
- This is a fully seasoned senior leadership position in the Airport organization charged with responsibility for directing multiple specialized functions and a large team within the airport through multiple director or manager level positions
Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of ten years of management.
Preferred Education and Experience - Minimum five years in airport management.
