NATURE OF WORK: Performs unskilled manual work involving the maintenance of specific department needs: Employees assigned to this classification perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of power tools, mechanical cleaning equipment, lubrication of mechanical parts, minor repairs, and other maintenance tasks requiring some sills. Work is assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and is inspected for quality and productivity.
Minimum Requirements
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions. Some experience in maintenance, construction, repair of building equipment including the use of tools and equipment used in repairs
required. Position requires a valid Florida Driver License.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.

City of Orlando Benefits If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
