Essential Job Functions

  • Provides customer service by responding to walk-in or telephone requests; assisting customers via the service counter or by phone; and providing information about Information technology services.

  • Completes accounts payable by reviewing employee and customer purchases; ensures information is entered into the financial management system database; processes invoices and reviews procurement card purchases.

  • Monitors and enters employees work time bi-weekly for payroll into the timekeeping system.

  • Assists with preparing operating and budget reports budget by utilizing financial or historical data; and assisting in the preparation of an annual budget that provides resources for continuation of services.

  • Completes other tasks by maintaining records on the budget that include internal and external forms and procedures; paying bills for department; and completing indirect cost studies.

  • All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.


Minimum Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:

  • Education: Work requires general knowledge in an administrative professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through a high school education or a technical or vocational level degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Experience: At least one year experience working in an operations or administrative field.

  • Licenses: Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.
