The Security Specialist, Sr., under the supervision of the Security Manager is responsible for the consistent and documented daily security roving patrols, facilities physical security inspections, ID badge enforcement and security briefs. The Watershed Security Specialist Sr. provides a safe and secure work environment to ensure accountability and a deterrent of intruders or theft. The Security Specialist, Sr. may also be required to issue identification badges for all employees of an assigned department in accordance with policies and procedures. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: deactivating and recovering ID badges of terminated employees or contractors; accounting for ID badges and storage at all times; assisting in the semi- annual audit of ID badges; performing routine to complex clerical and administrative duties in the ID badge office; and processing requests for tours or visits of secure areas.
