job descriptionThe Information Technology Services Division is filling one (1) Programmer Analyst
III position in the Corporate Applications section. This position is part of ERP
Technical Team and will provide technical support on reports, integrations, and
other configurations related to Workday Absence module. Duties and
responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in Workday implementation efforts, report and integration development, and other related tasks to support Workday ERP project.
- Analyze, design, build, test and maintain custom reports using Workday reporting functionality.
- Configure, develop, test, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, RaaS, EIBs, etc.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system issues related to Absence module after go-live.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end users.
- Create and/or maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Communicates weekly metrics, reports and project progress to the team lead, project manager, and/or key stakeholders.
- Follow and enforce ITS change and release management practices and policies.
- Perform other related duties, as required.
During the temporary telecommute schedule in place, employees may have to share
and alternately use a workspace(s) on their respective onsite days.
Overtime andsome travel are required. A valid California Driver’s License is required andmust be maintained during the course of employment.Candidates will be evaluated for the following work-related skills, knowledge,
and abilities:
- Substantial knowledge in software development core concepts, database concepts, and best practices.
- Knowledge and experience in various programming languages and web technologies, such as JavaScript, XSLT, XML, SQL, web services, APIs, or Workday-specific languages like Workday Studio and EIBs.
- Knowledge in Workday HCM, Absence, Reporting and Integrations modules is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Proficiency in writing technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with others, and with little supervision.
