    Job Summary

    Salary: $25.00
    • Understand legal processes pertaining to ICAC investigations
    • Assist detectives in receiving and reviewing cybertips from NCMEC
    • Assist detectives with reviewing electronic evidence including, but not limited to, Cellebrite UFED readers/Axiom portable readers as needed.
    • Communicate with parents, complainants, and witnesses in ICAC related cases and cyber tips.
    • Provide education and training to parents, complainants, and witnesses regarding ICAC investigations and child safety on the internet.
    • Create and conduct presentations regarding internet safety to groups of children and adults.
    • Assist detectives with building a case for prosecution. Obtain or assist with obtaining items for prosecution including photo line-ups, Criminal Information Bulletins (CIBs), Social Media Reports, wage and earning reports, and other work-ups available to investigators and detectives. Check key indicators in various LEO systems (e.g. cross check: suspect names, phone numbers, emails, etc., in LinX, Vigilant, Flock, Accurint, etc.).
    • Complete supplemental reports and updates as needed.
    • Assist detectives with chat operations.
    • Cooperate and work in conjunction with outside agencies.
    • Input data into spreadsheets and track statistics related to ICAC investigations.
    • Attend quarterly meetings and annual ICAC training.
    • Complete court documents including, but not limited to, investigative subpoenas and search warrants to view evidence.
    • Compile intelligence for search warrants, surveillance, and other investigative duties including, but not limited to, open-source data and social media searches.


    Note: This position involves exposure to digital evidence related to Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and child exploitation.

    Minimum Requirements

    Knowledge of report writing, social media applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills. Prior sworn law enforcement, crime analyst, or ICAC investigator experience is preferred.

    THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
