    Solano County is hiring for Assistant Director of Health and Social Services!

    This position is open until filled.

    The Assistant Director of Health and Social Services (HSS), assists the Director of Health and Social Services in the planning, organization, and oversight of daily administrative operations, including management of staff and key initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cohesive operations within Solano’s largest Department while coordinating within an integrated agency structure. The Assistant Director serves as a member of the County's Executive Management Team to develop and execute the Department’s Strategic Plan and may act on behalf of the Director as needed.
