    INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST/CURRICULUM FACILITATOR
    Casual Worker
    EOP- Summer Bridge

    Salary Range : $16.50 - $140.00/Hourly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $30/Hourly)

    Work Schedule : Hours to be arranged; temporary appointment ends on/or before July 11, 2025; non-exempt classification.

    Essential Functions : Facilitator will consult with learning community faculty and staff to identify and plan for instructional/curriculum development needs that align with recommendations of EO 1110 - CSU's Math/Quantitative Reasoning (QR) initiative; collaborate with learning community faculty and staff to redesign instructional pedagogy content for the SAS supplemental instruction (SI) program and Summer Bridge Math Component; develop appropriate formative and/or summative assessments that align with instructional calendar; provide guidance and direction regarding the implementation of instructional activities with specific quantitative reasoning content; assume responsibility for developing the parameters of workshop training sessions to effectively support the learning and development of summer bridge math facilitators and SI leaders; and additional administrative duties as necessary. Facilitator will report to and interface with SAS Coordinator and the EOP Director for direction and progress.

    Required Qualifications & Experience : A bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences, Social Sciences or a Credential in Education.The incumbent must demonstrate expertise with active learning theory, as well as cooperative learning and socio-cultural theories; successful experience working with high needs population of mainly developmental and underrepresented students. The incumbent must have teh ability to act decisively under stressful situations. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University.
