Full-time position available with the Public Works Department, Multi Model Division, located at 414 E 12th St.
Salary Range: $20.48-$30.71/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.

Responsibilities
- Works with Transportation team members to develop creative and innovative solutions to meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers while adhering to departmental rules and regulations.
- Assists departmental team members in planning and implementing new and existing programs.
- Schedules appointments and provides general information for Transportation and Multimodal initiatives.
- Escalates complex issues to project and program managers and other communication team members.
- Ensures every customer receives courteous and efficient service, including support for 311 cases and project-related stakeholder engagement and coordination
- Provides timely feedback and relays recurring customer concerns or observations to project and program managers. Meets the public by answering phone calls and providing accurate information to the appropriate programs for the Transportation Division.
- Provides support for management of key performance indicators for evaluation of service delivery.
- Performs other clerical duties associated with payroll administration, requisition processing, and procurement of supplies, and other related tasks for Transportation and Multimodal division activities and staff.
- Performs and supports inventory and database management activities related to multimodal program and project initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor's degree; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience to include professional experience in the development and/or operation of administrative systems, programs, policies and practice.

For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
