    Position Description
    Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large, specialized project and program. Under general supervision, performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, para-professional or professional staff members.

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Represents TTUHSC School of Health Professions Office of Admissions and Student Affairs to prospects, applicants, current students, SHP team members, and institutional partners to foster student engagement, student success, achieve enrollment and retention goals in alignment with the mission and goals of the school and university.
    • Participates in OASA planning and workgroup teams to support current initiatives, processes, and goals of the OASA team. Contribute to the development of new, efficient, and innovative processes and strategies that advance the mission of the school and the university.
    • Leads and collaborates on daily Student Affairs processes and projects, ensuring effective coordination and timely completion of tasks as needed.
    • Leads project management efforts for the ASA team by organizing timelines, facilitating communication, and driving projects to completion in support of the ASA team, SHP and institutional priorities.
    • Manages key communication assets, including the SHP website, official publications, and multimedia messaging platforms (email, SMS, and social media), to ensure consistent, strategic, and mission-aligned outreach.
    • Coordinates and executes daily SHP marketing tasks, requests, and timelines to ensure strategic alignment with the missions of OASA, SHP, and the university.
    • Assists with managing the SHP scholarship process.
    • Provides support in preparing and submitting reports required by ASA, SHP, and institutional stakeholders, ensuring compliance with deadlines and data quality standards.
    • Assists with the Slate (CRM) system by gathering student information, tracking engagement, and supporting data reporting to inform decision-making and improve enrollment and student success processes.
    • Assists with TTUHSC School of Health Professions events.
    • Supports our TTUHSC vision and mission by carrying out our values based culture.
    • Maintains the ability to work professionally with co-workers, faculty, staff, and students, provide excellent customer service and multitask with ease.
    • Contributes to the overall success of the University and SHP by performing other duties as assigned.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality for applicants, current students, faculty and staff.
    • Observes work safety rules.


    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field plus four years of related administrative and technical experience OR a combination of education and/or years of experience in the area of specialization or closely related field to equal a minimum of 8 years.
