    Position Description
    The Community Liaison is responsible for developing key relationships in an assigned community that will assist the university in meeting its fundraising, programming and community awareness goals by conducting programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC)

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Conduct regular visits, meetings, and presentations with healthcare providers to promote the services of Texas Tech Physicians, share updates, introduce new providers, and gather feedback, both in Lubbock and surrounding communities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional physicians, medical groups, and healthcare providers to increase referrals and partnerships.
    • Serve as a contact for referring physicians, addressing their concerns and ensuring a seamless referral process to the central Texas Tech Physicians Referral Team.
    • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create outreach strategies and promotional materials.
    • Monitor referral patterns, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve physician engagement and patient access.
    • Act as a liaison between internal departments to strengthen relationships between providers of Texas Tech Physicians.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting referral networks.
    • Assist with the planning and execution of networking events, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain a regional list with office addresses, office contacts, providers
    • Create a collaborative calendar of monthly activities, clinic visits both upcoming and past to create visibility for the clinics and combine resources.


    Required Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience to equal seven years.
