Primary Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Position Description: The Senior Contract Monitor oversees the management and compliance of grant-funded contracts within the organization. This position provides leadership and guidance to a team of contract monitors, ensuring adherence to contract terms, regulatory requirements, and agency policies. The Senior Contract Monitor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness of grant-funded initiatives.
Duties:- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of contract monitors.
- Assign workloads, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations of team members.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated issues related to contract compliance.
- Oversee the monitoring of grant-funded contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms, applicable laws, and funding source requirements.
- Review and approve reports and documentation submitted by contract monitors.
- Analyze contract performance data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the resolution of contract disputes or performance issues.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to grant funded contracts.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized processes and procedures for contract monitoring.
- Collaborate with the Senior Compliance Specialist regarding audits and risk assessments of grant-funded contracts.
- Develop and deliver training for contract monitors on best practices, compliance requirements, and changes to relevant policies.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes and share knowledge with the team.
- Work closely with internal departments, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure effective communication and coordination of contract-related activities.
- Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to the Compliance Manager and other leadership.
- Being present at the office is an essential function of the job.

Other DutiesAssist with other agency grant efforts, as needed, including but not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligation for disaster response and/or recovery. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, grant administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Preferable experience working with government agencies or public sector environment.

• Proficiency in ePro and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
