How to Target My Resume for Multiple Jobs

Sending out generic resumes to dozens of companies never worked in the past, and it especially won’t work in today’s job searching climate. Building Trust Through Behavioral Integrity

Cornell University professor Dr. Tony Simons’ powerful article, “The High Cost of Lost Trust,” appeared in the Harvard Business Review in 2002. In that piece, he described his team’s efforts to examine a specific hypothesis (“Employee commitment drives customer service”) in the US operations of a major hotel chain. Indeed, an organization is formed when talented individuals come together to contribute their talents toward a common goal.

In the background, there's a mountainous landscape, creating a stark contrast to the digital efficiency of Office 365.

Information Governance Insights: Don’t Move Junk Into a New House

Most organizations have been using Microsoft’s Exchange in the Cloud for quite some time and many of them have bought into Office 365 for the price point alone. A recent trend is to fully adopt the Office 365 environment, scale back the traditional on-premise server farms and move everything to the Cloud as part of an overall digital transformation of the workplace. This is a noble endeavor, but invariably there are issues mainly around what to do with all the “valuable” stuff people are hoarding in their personal files. Can we all agree that we all have our secret stash in our network shares that we don’t want to give up?

  • Two weathered wooden direction signs point opposite ways, standing against a backdrop of tall, blurred mountains. The rustic signs, mounted on sturdy poles, seem to symbolize a lateral transfer in choosing paths—the left sign pointing left and the right sign pointing right.

    Benefits of a Lateral Transfer

A lateral transfer refers to when an employee moves from one position to another position at the same pay grade within an organization. Although this isn’t the same as upward mobility, such as a promotion, it does offer some unique benefits to both the employee and the organization. Following are three benefits of a lateral transfer.
